Actor Brian Cox didn’t hold back in his recent interview on ‘The Starting Line Podcast,’ where he labeled the Bible as the “worst book to ever grace human history.” In his opinion, it’s filled with propaganda and lies that have deceived many throughout history.
Cox, known for his role in “Succession,” expressed his disdain for organized religion, particularly Christianity, dismissing it all as “hogwash.” He believes that society should move towards a matriarchal structure, but blames the Bible for perpetuating patriarchal norms, especially with stories like Adam and Eve, which he sees as subjugating women.
Describing the Bible as the “greatest propaganda instrument of all time,” Cox asserts that religion is merely a tool for control and that God doesn’t exist. Unapologetically atheist, he criticizes the influence of religious beliefs on society, suggesting that humanity is being hindered by outdated scriptures.
While his views may spark controversy, Cox remains steadfast in his stance against religious dogma and the perceived limitations it imposes on human progress.
